Tipping Competition


Gurriny Yealamucka's Men's Health Team are proud to present the Great Yarrabah Tipping Competition 2024.

'Old-School' in format and open to all Yarrabah Community members aged 18 and over.

$50 weekly prize for the leading tipper that round plus the top 3 at the end of the season share in $500 of vouchers.

T & C's

  • Entry is open to all Yarrabah residents, over the age of 18 years ("Eligible Entrants").
  • Management, employees or contractors of Gurriny Yealamucka Health Services Aboriginal Corporation, and their immediate families are eligible to enter this competition and also claim prizes associated with this competition.
  • Only one weekly entry per community member is permitted
  • All entries need to be submitted into the entry barrel, located at the Men’s Space Noble Drive Yarrabah before 12 noon each Thursday to cover that round. LATE ENTRIES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED
  •  One game is selected as a points margin, this will be used to determine the weekly winner, in the case of a number of tipping entries with the same number of correct tips.
  •  In the case of two or more winners with the same points margin and the same number of correct winning tips, multiple vouchers will be awarded.
  • Weekly winners will be published on the GYHSAC Facebook page, along with a points ladder for the round and overall.
  • The tipping competition is free to enter with no obligation to participate each week]
  • There is a prize pool of $500 for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd placed tipper at the end of the season. In the case of a tie, the prize will be shared.
  •  $250 1st Prize
  •  $150 2nd Prize
  • $100 3rd Prize
  • GYHSAC is collecting phone numbers and email addresses during this promotion, enabling ease of contact for winners and also for the purpose of notifying community members of significant events of interest or health notification.  WE WILL NOT SPAM YOU!

HOW TO PLAY

Hard copy weekly Tipping Forms will be available to download here or collect each week from the Men's Space on Noble Drive.

Select your team, predict your points margin for the designated game

Return the completed form to the Men's Space on Noble Drive no later than 12 noon Thursday and you are in the comp.

Results will be determined each Monday morning and  notified at the all new Monday Footy Yarns, 10am each Monday at Noble Drive.
